On July 4th, 2008, Governor Edward G. Rendell signed into law House Bill 1067. Section 4 of this bill contains the main wording from HB65.This legislation would allow the parents of twins and higher order multiples to have a primary voice in the placement decisions of their children (either separate or together) within the classroom. Thank you to the House Leadership for adding the "Twins in the Classroom" legislation to the 2008-2009 State Budget as part of the Education Omnibus Amendments. |
